Cyril Boehler is a composer and music producer known for his distinctive soundtracks in film and visual media. His versatile approach and musical storytelling have brought depth and emotion to pioneering productions.
He has composed for numerous feature films, documentaries, and television films, including TATORT, WILDER, and the BAFTA-winning LATE SHIFT.
Based in Zurich, Switzerland, Cyril also crafts music and audio for interactive media, award winning commercials, and popular television formats.
As ZWICKER and under his own name, he combines electronic music and songwriting in a series of successful albums and tracks — some with enough streams to fill oceans.

Interactive Music for BIRDLY MIGRATION
For the second time, I had the opportunity to compose music for Somniacs Birdly, the masters of virtual reality. For this project, I spent a great deal of time familiarising myself with the FMOD Studio software so that I can integrate my music even more effectively into interactive projects in the future.
🐦 This time, the focus was on bird migration. The aim was to create organic music with dramatic shifts in the score that would tell the story of the action in a gripping way through sound.
🎮 The FMOD middleware helped to implement the interactive elements with precision. As interactive scenes can last for any length of time, loops and markers are essential: Loops repeat until an action triggers a jump to the next marker – FMOD allows for seamless transitions. Despite all the technical possibilities and gimmicks, what ultimately matters is this question: does the music move you? 🎶
