‍Cyril Boehler is composer and music producer known for his distinctive soundtracks in film and visual media. His versatile approach and musical storytelling bring depth and emotion to a wide range of productions.

He has written and produced music for numerous feature films, documentaries, and television productions, including TATORT, WILDER, and the BAFTA-winning LATE SHIFT. And as a creative audio producer, he has also composed music for interactive media, award-winning commercials, and hit TV shows.

His unquenched thirst for musical adventure has led him time and again to inspiring collaborations. In the noughties, he released numerous EPs and two albums—first under Tweak, then as Zwicker —fusing electronic music with songwriting. As a DJ, he played in clubs around the world, and his releases received widespread praise and consistent airplay. Some of his work, like the tracks with Afrobeat legend Tony Allen or singer Heidi Happy on Compost Records, have gathered millions of streams across various platforms.

Born into a creative family in Zurich, Cyril began scoring films as a teenager. In his late teens, he moved to Boston USA, played in indie bands, and earned a diploma in film music from Berklee College of Music. In his early twenties, back in Europe, he received invaluable advice from Ennio Morricone—an influence that helped shape his path to becoming a passionate film composer.

At his BESPOQE Audio and Music Studio in Zürich Switzerland, Cyril and his team bring music projects to life. From concept to composition, sound design, recording and mixing, they provide a full suite of music and audio services—delivering high-quality, perfectly balanced and touching music.

Cyril’s musical signature blends elegance with power, marked by haunting melodies, intriguing chord progressions, and intricate rhythmic structures. His attention to detail in sound design and composition is unmistakable. As he puts it:

„Music is a deep and profoundly emotional art form. It enters the unconscious in the blink of an eye and, when done well, stays there forever.“
